combine text and number in a matrixs

I have data a='clear' and b=6 and c=7.
I want develop a matrik contain of a and b. It should be = [clear, 6, 7]
I would be appreciate if anyybody can help

This is not possible with regular matrices. You can use cell arrays. Also table() objects can have columns of different types.
