could not create the new file you may not have permission matlab

I am facing this error everytime when i want to create a new funtion in the commend window it shows like this error

Which folder path is your MATLAB's current directory?

You can check by the following command.

pwd

And pleaes check your user account has permission to write a file in it.

You can change the current folder by the following examples. After changing a folder properly, I suppose you have a write permission.

cd C:\YourPath % Windows
cd /home/XXX/ % Linux (XXX is your use account)
