The Deep Learning toolbox has dozens of demos. Hopefully one of them is close to what you want to do and you can adapt it. Also, look on this website for numerous Deep Learning trainings, like the Deep Learning on ramp or whatever it's called. To save time, you'd really benefit from getting the latest version because a lot has been added in the last 7 years.
