How to use the drop down value in if clause ?

Hi All

I have a drop down component in my app using app designer, which their values are numbers like 1 , 2 ,3,4

then I need to use this vlaue in the push Button code.

So I wrote in the dropdown section :

dtype = app.Drtype.Value;

and I made this value public property but I don't know what I should assign for its default value

and in the pushbutton code :

if app.dtype== 1

But doing so , nothing happens, I also tried '1' and str(1) , but seems not to be working
