phased.ConstantGammaClutter simulates clutter up to the horizon range. So it already builds the range ambuity in.

Thanku for ur reply...Clutter is unambiguous if prf is set such that unambiguous range is equal to horizon range....In order to simulate ambiguous clutter, i have set horizon range greater than max unambiguous range ...but i couldnt verify if the clutter is unambiguous...Can u tell , how could i identify if the clutter is ambiguous or not??
If your maximum unambiguous range is less than horizon range, then there will be ambiguous clutter. It's really hard to identify which clutter is from the ambiguous range. However, in general the clutter from ambiguous range will contribute less because of the distance.

Thanku for ur reply....I m asking if Doppler or angle of arrival of ambiguous clutter is different from unambiguous one ?? How could I differentiate between a ambiguous clutter and unambiguous clutter by looking at the range Doppler plot or any other response ??
Yes they are. By definition you should see an area of occupied by the clutter in range-Doppler but the range-Doppler in general would be confined by the maximum unambiguous range and Doppler.
Kindly can u explain how could I differentiate between an ambiguous clutter simulation and unambiguous one ??In the above comment , I suppose a word is missing after'you should see an area of'
Sorry, I mean an are of clutter. I don't know what application you are working on, I can just say that the simulation in the toolbox takes into consideration of all ranges up to horizon range so if your maximum unambiguous range based on waveform is less that that, then there will be ambiguous clutter in the resulting signal.
I m working on a Space time adaptive radar... I want to suppress range ambiguous clutter through elevation pre filtering....For that I need to differentiate the range ambiguous clutter data and range unambiguous data....
but that's a different quesion. If you know your maximum unambiguous range, and assume you know the altitude of your radar, you should be able to compute that above what angle the clutter would be from the ambiguous range, You should only need geometry information to do this, you dont' have to look at the clutter signal.
Yes sir ,u r right...But at the first place, I need to be able to differentiate between ambiguous and unambiguous clutter. So that after STAP algorithm,I could validate n verify the claim that range ambiguous clutter has been suppressed....
