app designer UIAxes plot

app.Image.ImageSource = data;
hold(uiaxes,'on') 
plot....

the code is above, I want to add a plot in the image, but how to determine the "UIAxes" ?

lenwen - wouldn't you have added an uiaxes to your app and perhaps accessible via app.UiAxes?

You have the right idea to specify an axis handle but it looks like you're not using the handle.

uiax = uiaxes();  % Create the UIAxes, store the handle.
hold(uiax, 'on')  % specify the UIAxes
plot(uiax, x, y)  % specify the UIAxes
