hi,
I'm trying to run Nema17 stepper motor using simulink and raspberry pi 4, and analog driver.
I've managed to run the motor, but the RPM is very low (about 10 sec per revolution) and the motion isn't smooth. I think the problem is with the pulse generator and I can't get the right pulses to make it run properly. Anyone knows how can I give a simple command to the motor of - Step X steps in speed of Y RPM ? thanks

Thank you Reeno,
I've seen this example before and tried to analyze it. Just to make clear, my motor is real and not just a model. Can you be more specific in the sequence, do you mean in the matlab or simulink? can you send a screen shot of the pulse generator? I wish to control the angle accuratly and the RPM to have low/medium/high speed.
thanks,
Nadav
