Hi,
is maybe this code what are you looking for?
x=-3:0.01:3;
y=NaN(size(x));
L=x<=-2;
y(L)=0;
L=x>-2 & x<0;
y(L)=x(L)+2;
L=x>=0 & x<2;
y(L)=-x(L)+2;
L=x>=2;
y(L)=0;
subplot(2,1,1)
plot(x,y,'b')
axis([-3,3,-1,3])
xlabel 't(sec)'
ylabel 'f(t)'
x=-3:0.01:3;
y=NaN(size(x));
L=x<=-1;
y(L)=0;
L=x>-1 & x<1;
y(L)=1;
L=x>=1;
y(L)=0;
subplot(2,1,2)
plot(x,y,'r')
axis([-3,3,-1,2])
xlabel 't(sec)'
ylabel 'g(t)'
I wish that helps you and good luck.

Please don't do student homwrok assignments for them. This does not help the student, teaching them only they can always find some person to do their work for them.
