Hello!
I have made the following simplifications to a system of PDEs and I was hoping to get some help as to how to format them for use in Matlab's pdepe command.
(d here is the partial derivative operator)
dE/dx + dB/dt = 0
and
dB/dX = 0
I am only solving in a single x dimension and in time. My initial condition are two Gaussian pulses for E and B.

Hi LP,
Isn't dB/dx = 0 going to conflict with B being a gaussian pulse?

Shoot, I suppose you're right. That's embarassing. In that case, would you be able to tell me how to state equation 1 for pdepe?
