I'm trying to use Matlab to extract features from a point cloud. In particular after point cloud segmentation, I would like to calculate areas (and others geometrical features) of the segmented regions. Is it possible?

I would like to calculate the area of green part segmented from an original point cloud as it's shown in the picture.
