how to launch a function when a MMI is opened

My need is simple :

It's just to initiate a MMI list box with the serial port in presence on the machine. I know how to do it with seriallist function but I'd like that the list box is immediatly well setting when the MMI is opened for the first time.

For the moment i used a push button but it's not a very nice way in my opinion.

In fact the need is to have a beginfuncton in app environment like a beginfunction in the GUI environment.
