Matlab License issue with Mac OSX 10.8 concerning the hostid

I have installed Matlab 2012b on a mac running 10.8. When I activate the product it puts the wrong hostid into the license file.

My mac address ends in f4 and the license file hostid ends in f5.

Matlab runs on activation, but fails on restart and must be re-actived on each use.
