Error while validating model function prototypes for model
Mostrar comentarios más antiguos
Hi, Does anyone know what the following error means and how to deal with it?
"Error while validating model function prototypes for model: The storage class of the signal connected to port 'Out1' is a non-Auto storage class, thus the generated code is not Function Prototype Control feature compliant."
Currently, I have set the data type of the signal that goes to output port 'Out1' to boolean.I also tried setting it to Auto, but the error still appears when I try to generate code from the model.
Thanks!

Are any upstream signals set to have a non-Auto storage class? Upstream signals are those emanating from blocks that are before the 'Out1' block in the signal flow.

I am facing the same problem. How did you resolve?

Specify your signals code generation options->storage class as "auto"
