MATLAB r2012b Mac 'not responding' after opening help.

Opening up help via the question mark button causes the application to not respond on Mac. Also checking updates does the same. Anyone know why? Any fix?
On Mac OSX 10.8.2

I have the same problem with 2013a, running OS X 10.8.2
