A model of transmitter and receiver circuit will be build using MATLAB Simulink and RF Toolbox. The signal is based on single channel GSM signal at 880 MHz with BW of 5 MHz. The transmitter and receiver will be connected using single antenna with circulator, or two separated antenna that is in near-field condition. The leakage signal from transmitter to receiver signal is modelled to be 60 dB higher than the intended receiver signal. Before the digital signal filter, an ADC with 8-bit resolution range will be used to introduce the quantization error.
The requirement is to reduce the SI signal by 60 dB. The signal bandwidth is around 5 MHz with centre frequency of 880 MHz. However, the circuit are required to preserve the desired receive signal. The analog circuit will reduce the SI signal by 30 dB, and the digital filter will reduce the residual SI signal to 0 dB. The ADC use would have an 8-bit resolution.
