Invalid MEX file after PC initial setup

I reinstalled windows on my computer. I want to execute a MEX file which I compiled on Visual Studio 2010 (I installed Visual Studio 2012 on this computer) which worked before, but I get the message
invalid mex file '<pathname>': The specified module could not be found.
Do I need to compile the file in visual studio 2012? What do I have to do to run the file on this computer without recompiling it? Or do I have to install Visual Studio 2010?

You probably need to install the run-time library for VS2010

I tryed to, but I got the error message: 'A newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable has been detected on the machine.' So that's probably because I installed Visual Studio 2012 on the computer? Does that mean that there is no other way thän recompiling my MEXFile?
