How can I extract image data from excel?

I have an excel file with a small number of tif files with the desired sizes of the images in (Pixel x Pixel) format in separate columns. How could I extract the desired pixel sizes from the images and display that?

a=imread('yourimage.tif');
size(a);%read in the image and look at the size
