How do I merge several (9) Excel files into one MATLAB file? I have data in columns from different stations where rows are time data. The nine files are for each year. The columns (stations) match in most files, so I want them to be in one column from different years. The columns (stations) which do not have data in some years, should still be included but then with no numerical data, but shouldn't be in the way for statistical analysis.

  • Use dir to create list of file names in current directory
  • Use for loop to read each file and get the data
