Should be unnecessary to ask this question in a forum. You can google these things very easily.

... Yes, but only relatively recently; it depends on the MATLAB version.
Also, to add a note in case people searching for mp4 happen upon this: current versions of MATLAB do not support reading streaming mp4, only reading it from a file.
