Supported I2C interfaces

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Matlab and I have already a question. I want to connect a development kit of Mircochip to Matlab for streaming a couple of sensor datas in real time. The development kit has an i2c interface and I have also an usb-i2c brigde of Microchip, but after reading comments and toolbox informations, it looks like I can not use every usb-i2c adapters. Can I only use adaptors of Total Phase and NI or an Arduino/ Rasperry for an i2c interface? Is that correct or did I miss something? I only want to adress to registers to write and read. Is there another way to get access?´
