Problem starting Simbiology in MATLAB

I just installed Simbiology and i keep getting this problem whenever i try running it on MATLAB.
MATLAB:dispatcher:loadLibrary Can't load 'C:\Program Files (x86)\MATLAB\R2012a Student\bin\win32\libmwsb_bmodel.dll': The specified module could not be found.
How can i fix this?
Thanks.
NB. Besides, the dll file is present in the folder!

Hi, Did I understand you correctly that this happens when you type >>simbiology into the MATLAB command window? Ingrid Given your question it might be worth contacting tech support.

Hi Akintunde,
This problem generally means you have an inconsistent version of files in your installation. Could you have installed the R2013a SimBiology add-on in your R2012a Student Version? That could explain this problem. You may be able to confirm which the versions of MATLAB and SimBiology you have installed by running the command "ver" from the MATLAB command prompt.
SimBiology was first released as a general add-on to the Student Version of MATLAB starting in R2013a. Unless you received special instructions from your academic institution on how to install SimBiology for the R2012a Student Version, you will not be able to use SimBiology with the R2012a Student Version. If you did receive such instructions from your school, then I would recommend re-installing to make sure that you followed the instructions correctly.

Thank you all for your comments.
Arthur, what you described seem to be the problem. I do have MATLAB R2012a installed on my system and recently just purchased SimBiology (which apparently is R2013a). However, how do i go about rectifying this since the only version of Simbiology available on mathworks is R2013a.
Thanks

Hi Akintunde,
Unfortunately, if you wish to use SimBiology with the Student Version of MATLAB, you will need to upgrade to that R2013a Student Version of MATLAB. As described on this page, SimBiology was never available for purchase as an add-on to the R2012a Student Version.
I'm sorry there's not a way for you to use SimBiology with the R2012a Student Version of MATLAB.

I recently purchased the MATLAB R2012a, barely 3 weeks ago. Can i therefore deactivate this current version and obtain the R2013a version?

It is probably the easiest if you contact sales, e.g. via sales@mathworks.com to get an answer to this question. It might also be worth to try finding out whether your university has a TAH license. In this case you students can install MATLAB on your private computers as well.

Akintunde, feel free to contact me directly as well, and I'll make sure you talk to the right people about deactivating R2012a. For some reason, I could not contact you directly via the link on your MATLAB Community Profile.
