open/create a figure behind another

Hi, just as the title says, would it be possible? I know I can create/open a figure then focus/select the main figure, but thats not what I want to do.
Thank you

%First figure
figure(1);
set(1,'units','normalized','position',[0.1 0.2 0.6 0.4]);
plot(rand(1,10));
%Open the seocnd figure;
figure(2);
set(2,'units',get(1,'units'),'position',get(1,'position'));
surf(peaks);
%Give focus back to the first
figure(1);

Yes, I am aware of this method. However what i'm looking for is creating the second figure behind the first one. Not creating the secnd figure in from of the first one then focus on the first figure.

Why?
If you have to, make the second one invisible, give focus to the first, then turn the visibility of the secone one on.
