Hyper-spectral image convert to custom spectrum (LCD display spectrum)

Hi everyone,
I was following this external tutorial to convert Hyperspectral images to RGB ones. https://personalpages.manchester.ac.uk/staff/d.h.foster/Tutorial_HSI2RGB/Tutorial_HSI2RGB.html
Everything goes smoothly, except for the final step because I don't want to convert my images to standard RGB.
I want to use a matrix that contains the spectra of the 3 main components of an LCD screen (a 73x3 matrix - 73 is because my wavelength range is from 370-730nm with a step of 5), and find the transformation matrix to convert my original images to "lcd" images. I believe I have to find a correlation between the LCD screen matrix and another one containing CIE 1931 colour-matching functions, but I don't know how.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
