Delta Surface Fill in Matlab

Hello everyone,I have a DEM with gaps that I want to fill with another source of elevation data. According to the bibliography, the DSF method(Delta Surface Fill) is the most appropriate.

Is it possible with Matlab to apply this method on my DEM data?

But my question is about a specific method of filling voids in a DEM by another data source (The Delta Surface Fill Method :DSF).
