plc with simulink simulation motor velocity

I design the plc program about control motor velocity.Now I can connect plc and simulink with opc.But I want to know can I use gearbox and wheel Axle simulation the motor velocity.Such as when the motor is run of the plc program,the simulink simulation is start and I can see the motor velocity in the scope,if I change the velocity of the plc program,the scope also change.When the motor is stop of the plc program,the simulink simulation is stop.Can I do it and how to do?
