How can you display a Matlab figure stored on your computer in App Designer on the panel and plot on top of said figure?

I need to take a plot saved from a script and display it on the App Designer panel. I also need the ability to plot additional points on this figure.

Hi,

One possible solution is that,

1. You can pass the UIAxes of the app as an argument to the function which has the script.
2. While using plot in the script, set the parent to the UIAxes of the app.
3. Set hold (app.UIAxes, 'on');
4. Plot the required extra points.
