Cannot use almanac/referenceSphere function

Hi guys,

I was trying to plot the reference sphere of Earth on matlab using either

almanac
referenceSphere

but they both say undefined function or variable names.

Anyone got any idea?

Both are part of the Mapping Toolbox, which you may not have. If you type 'ver' at the Command Prompt, is the Mapping Toolbox listed in the resulting output?

Is that the entire output from ver? If so, then indeed, you do not have the Mapping Toolbox. To use these functions, you'll need to purchase a license.
