Save agent with .MAT -v7.3

In rlTrainingOptions, when we save agents upon certain criteria, they get saved as .MAT files. In my particular application, some of these .MAT files are exceeding 2GB while others are also very large in size. Is there a way where in I can get them saved as .MAT in v7.3 which gives way lesser size?.
