How to call MATLAB from C for image processing

Dear MATLAB Users,

I'm doing image processing. After image acquisition from an external system, I want to call a MATLAB script from a C script file (this handles the image processing) to process the images. If someone knows something about that, it would be very helpful.

I think you might need the Compiler, or Builder NE product, or maybe both.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. I was searching through the MATLAB Engine; there is an exmple in the Help file but I'm not sure if this is what I need.
