How to plot imagesc plotting over apianus mapprojection?

myRand2D = rand(91,181); lat=1:91; lon=1:181; I have the above data, longitude and latitude information. I want to plot imagesc plot for this data range over a apianus mapprojection? I tried to plot it but can't seem to find any solution. I would really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.
