Following are the steps to install NXP’s Model-Based Design Toolbox for HCP Series:
1. Run NXP_Support_Package_HCP script and follow the next quick steps as guided by the installer:
1.1 Create an account with NXP (toolbox is for free but account is requested to download the tool and access training & support on NXP Model Based Design Toolbox Community).
1.2. Download NXP Model-Based Design Toolbox for HCP Processors
1.3. Install the toolbox
1.4. Verify the correct installation
1.5. Generate a free of charge license
1.6. Activate the toolbox
1.7. Verify the license activation
The NXP's Model-Based Design Toolbox is a quick solution for testing and rapid prototyping applications on top of NXP MCUs.
It provides an integrated development environment and toolchain support for configuring and generating applications.
This toolbox includes integrated Simulink embedded target for NXP High-performance Computing Platforms: S32G2xx, S32G3xx, S32R41x, and S32S2xx.
HCP Model-Based Design Toolbox Main Features:
- PIL support, and PIL examples
- Code execution profiling
- Ready to run examples for all supported targets
