Simulink allows you to implement algorithms designed in MATLAB, C/C++, and Fortran. As a result, you can keep the existing
functionality of your code while building more advanced models in Simulink.
Use an extended Kalman filter with the MATLAB® Function block in Simulink® to estimate an aircraft's position from radar measurements. The filter implementation is found in the MATLAB Function block, the contents of which are stored in the Simulink model itself.
This library launches examples of different types of Simulink® S-functions. Simulink S-functions allow you to extend Simulink with new hand coded blocks, interface to custom external code, and create live interfaces to other programs. Use this example to access models containing S-functions in the C, C++, M, and Fortran.
