Troubleshooting Issues for Arduino in Simulink Online

Occurrence of Timeout Error in External Mode

Use this workaround when you encounter with an XCP error while simulating a model in external mode.

Error	XCP internal error: invalid timestamp configuration
Solution	Increase the polling time to any value greater than 2 seconds. In the Configuration Parameters window, select your Arduino® board in the Hardware board parameter. In Target hardware resources, in the External mode group, set Set XCP target polling time to Manually. Enter a polling time in the Polling time (in seconds) parameter.

Closing of Hardware Setup Window

During an active Simulink^® Online™ session, if the Hardware Setup window for Simulink Support Package for Arduino Hardware closes, try these fixes and open the Hardware Setup window again:

• Use your web browser in full screen mode.

• Check if the resolution of your monitor is high and update it accordingly to view the complete hardware setup window on your monitor.
