how to divide two groups of number and sum the fractions of the two...

If I had x= 1 2 3 4 5 and y= 6 7 8 9 10...How would I divide x1/y1+ x2/y2? Then how could I take those numbers an add them together?

Try this:
theSum = sum(x./y)
