Hi I have two images including one curve in each of them (nothing else, only one curve in each of them). The type of these images is grayscale and 2D. I have the start and end points of each curves and want to register (or fusing) these two image together.

Anybody know how can I do this? which registration method (or transformation) would be the good one for this? Below our images are attached. Regards

Here's the answer from the developer at the Mathworks who (I think) wrote the registration algorithm: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/73537#answer_94080

Thank you for your answer. Actually I tried this, but the output was not useful enough. By the way, the output which I'm looking for, would be two curves in order to the target image overlaid with the maximum pixels on the reference image. Do you have any idea about this?
