How to simulate 3D fiber?

I want to create a 3D fiber possibly 2 to 3 pixels thin.I am new in Matlab and I was wondering how can I make it?

Have you seen streamtube()? Also take a look at other stream* functions, the 3D visualization in the help, and the "wind" demo at the bottom of the MATLAB gallery: http://www.mathworks.com/discovery/gallery.html

I am probably not able to explain the problem properly. I want to create 3D fiber like object with known angles like known theta and phi values. So it is more like a 3D stick. Streamtube creates arbitrary shapes.
