Matlab crashes when I start the application

Hi,
Matlab crashes when I start the application, what seems to be the error? It would be much appreciated if you had an idea how to fix it :)
when i run as normal user the crash not accure, it happen only with root user.
also sudo /usr/local/MATLAB/R2021b/bin/matlab -softwareopenglmesa not make difference

Incase someone shows up here at a later date, I finally got this fixed by removing the shipped libstdc++.so.6 and libstdc++.so.6.0.xy inside <MATLAB_INSTALL_ROOT>/sys/os/glnxa64 and symlinking the system ones in there from /usr/lib...

This is a known bug and will be fixed in future releases.

Hello Yash,
You say this will be fixed in a future release, but I am trying to run the next release, 2022a and I have the same error. Do you have an ETA on the fix date? What is the bug tracking number for this issue? How can I find out when it has been fixed? Should I inform my university IT department that you don't have a functioning Linux release at the moment because of this bug? This is bringing my workflow to a halt. Is there a workaround? I am going to have to find other tools for bioinformatics, if I can't get this to work.
Thanks in advance for providing any actionable information to get this working,

Hi Erez,
Did you manage to find a solution to this? I am having the same problem when running maltlab as a root user. I called Mathworks and they said they don't know how to solve this problem because I use Arch Linux which is not a supported OS (lol)

We wouldn't know. But tech support would if you called them. It's free since it's an installation issue. Call them on the phone and talk to a real live person.
