MatLab, VMs and activation

I'd like to build a VM with MatLab on it for users to use MDCS. Given the strict firewall policies in the org, this seems like a good solution (no firewall restrictions could VM<->cloud VM).
How can I install MatLab without activating, so each student/staff member can activate when they spin up their own instance?
Is this even possible?

That's something you should probably discuss with the Sales department. You can use the Contact Us link at the top of http://www.mathworks.com to ask them.
