Hi there,
I am a teacher in a mathematics (for teaching) program and we have just learned some functions/codes, on matlab, for digital imaging. We have a final project that involves teaching a lesson using Matlab codes.
We are going to teach a lesson (potentially for our high school students) to other math teachers and we would like to create a conspiracy themed lesson around cryptography. I have looked into digital image encryption/decryption using matlab, but I am not sure if the code will be too complicated. I also looked into watermarking. What would you suggest I do for a conspiracy themed lesson? We want to make it as fun as possible, but we also want to add some element of mystery to it, without going over their heads with the codes and mathematics.
What do you think?
Thanks!

Evan after rotating, I can't see anything other than random shapes at different levels.

How about asking them to do a Monte Carlo simulation of the Prisoner's Dilemma? It's only about conspiracy though, not cryptography or steganography or watermarking.
