what are those Hand signal Recogntion Algorithm can be used?

what are those Hand signal Recogntion Algorithm can be used? using images processing and SOM.. I currently had one but real time snapshot wont work well to recognize.. any idea of algortithm can be use for hand signal recognition?

When you say "hand signal", are you referring to a sign language such as ASL, or are you referring to gestures? If you are referring to gestures, then you should research "Gesture Recognition"

Yes - the people who asked questions about it are working on it. Feel free to send them a message. Though, the people who have successfully done it and published papers on it may be a better resource than the beginners who are asking questions here.

I don't recall seeing any people with special expertise on it answering here, and looking over the contributors list I don't see anybody listing it as their area of expertise. There is a huge number of specialties in Image Processing so it's not surprising that every specialty is not represented here. Doesn't seem strange to me at all.
