Can anyone please tell me how to use dosage for "fit parameter" task in simbiology?

Hello Matlab community, I have created a schedule dosage to be supplied to central compartment in the model. I have successfully used it in the simulation task. However, I am having trouble figuring out how to use that dosage for "fit parameter" task. The dataset I wish to fit has a independent variable (time) and a dependent variable (concentration). I have tried creating a separate column in dataset and provide dosage information there. However, for the time points dosages are given, I do not have the measured concentration at the same time points. This creates a missing data in the dataset for the concentration. Can experts please help me out with the situation. thanks, appreciate that. Best chhavi

Hi,
It's fine if you don't have a concentration measurement at a dosing time. If that's the case, you just need to put NaN as the value of the concentration measurement for that time. That's how SimBiology understands there was no measurement at that time.

Also, I am importing the data from excel and using simbiology desktop app. Thanks

Sorry for the delayed response. I don't get notified when comments are added to MATLAB Answers posts.
Anyway, I'm guessing you typed NaN in Excel? If so, that's the problem. In Excel you just leave the cell blank if there's no data. When this is imported into MATLAB, blank cells will be replaced with NaN.
