Remove unwanted objects after segmentation

Hi, I have tested few techniques to segment an medical image. here is my results:

i am searching for a method which can help my to remove the unwanted objects in the image above(the "noise" objects). as you can see there is one significant object in the button, i want to remove all the others which also segmented and remain with that:

You might want to develop a better segmentation algorithm. If you're stuck with that, I'd do a morphological closing. See attached demo.
