How do I show the information of an image? I am using matlab r2018b and I cant find any working example.

Here is the GUI and I want to show the information of the Image on the right side (Image Information Panel). This is my Code:

What exactly does "show the information of the Image on the right side" mean? What's wrong with the posted code?

Sorry for the confusion sir. I mean I like to show the Name, Image type(jpg,png,gif), and the size of the image on the right side of the UI.

Seems like your code already does what you're asking with the lines:

            app.txtName.Value = name;
            set(app.txtType.Value, 'string', ext);
            set(app.txtSize.Value, 'string', size);

Not sure why you use two different syntax (direct assignment and assignment via set) to do the same thing, but that should do what you ask.

If it doesn't then you need to explain better why it's not doing it. Perhaps you get an error, in which case you need to give us the full text of the error. Perhaps it doesn't do what you want, in which case you need to tell us what it's doing instead and why it's wrong.

I tried to do the first line

 app.txtName.Value = name;

because the this code

  set(app.txtType.Value, 'string', ext);
  set(app.txtSize.Value, 'string', size);

is not working. Its not showing the name and the size of the image. Its not giving me any error though.

app.txtType.Value = ext;
app.txtSize.Value = size;

doesn't work?

Note that calling a variable size is an extremely bad idea as that prevents you from using the size function.
