GUIDE Property Inspector Problem in R2013a

When I have a gui figure open in GUIDE, I right click on an element and select property inspector. However, when I do this, it seems as though it triggers a break point or something on line 99 of SceneViewerListener.m (located in C:\MATLAB\R2013a\toolbox\matlab\codetools\+internal\+matlab\+inspector). If I press F5 a bunch of times, it will eventually bring up the property inspector, but I have to do the same thing every time I make a change in the property inspector. It keeps going in to debug mode, but there are no errors/warnings and I don't have any breakpoints enabled.

Does it behave the same way if you double-click on the element?

I have the same problem, same MATLAB version. It also happens when I double click.
update: the problem disappears if I disable "stop on errors" under error handling in breakpoints. Could there be some internal error associated with guide that doesnt show in the command line?
