plotting a musical staff

I'm making a plot that is supposed to be a musical staff. How do I get the script to plot dots similar to musical notes?

I need to graph points with dots, or preferably ovals. As of now I can only get it to graph really small dots.

Sorry, I'm new to using a discussion board. Your previous answer was fine and helped a lot, but this is a separate question referring to graphing points with dots, or preferably ovals. As of now I can only get it to graph really small dots.
