Description
Scientifica Multiphoton systems provide fantastic images from in vivo and in vitro samples. With high-efficiency collection optics and scan head design (with relay lens), they allow the detection of deep or weak fluorescence signals while keeping laser power to a minimum. This has the major benefit of helping to maintain sample health and viability. All Scientifica Multiphoton systems are available as complete hardware solutions. Modules can also be purchased separately for integration into existing systems.
The collection of Multiphoton systems provides the option of one or more scan paths employing Galvo or Resonant mirrors to suit a wide range of applications. The open design allows the system to be controlled with a range of free software or with a custom written solution, giving users ultimate flexibility and control.
- HyperScope: Scientifica’s latest Multiphoton Imaging System is ideal for simultaneously performing two-photon microscopy and photostimulation, with exceptional optical performance due to its optional twin scan paths and flexible scanner configurations.
- Multiphoton Galvo System: Accurate positioning and speed control of the laser spot can be achieved with the Galvo scan head. This is essential when carrying out arbitrary line scanning, which allows for the highest possible temporal resolution. The linear Galvos also allow for image acquisition at flexible speeds, resolutions, and aspect ratios to tailor the acquired data to the particular experiment.
- Multiphoton Resonant System: Offers high speed scanning, 30 frames per second at full resolution (512 x 512 pixels), or even faster if the resolution/scan area is adjusted. This means that it is possible to monitor fast activity across a large population of cells as well as patching targeted structures visible only with 2P excitation.
Scientifica offers a range of cutting-edge imaging systems for neuroscience research. The Multiphoton Scanning Systems all support the ScanImage software, produced by Vidrio Technologies for controlling the instruments from MATLAB. Systems are delivered pre-configured to run ScanImage. Full system training and support is also provided to ensure customers get up to speed quickly and are productive with the instruments.
