A 3D visualization of a robotic arm is used to show options of exploring Simscape™ Multibody™ models. Simscape Multibody enables the user to explore 3D mechanical models, including replaying animations of simulation results. The mechanical system is viewed from multiple viewpoints simultaneously. Viewpoints can be static or dynamic. The viewpoint tracks the tip of a robotic arm, and a separate viewpoint navigates to specific predefined locations and orientations. Objects can be hidden so interior components can be seen. The 3D animation can be exported to multiple video formats at the desired playback speed.
