Teaching Programming with MATLAB

Please access the Course Materials here

Overview

Be part of one of the largest educational conversations of 2021! Join MathWorks for our global event regarding the future of teaching programming. Our engineers will entertain you with an open discussion regarding common challenges in teaching programming in foundational university courses and show you how to address them. They will present classroom-ready resources that can be immediately deployed in your course.

Computing skills are increasingly important for scientists and engineers. Your students need to be able to design and create computer programs to solve problems efficiently and gain a deeper understanding of complex systems during their studies and careers.

You will learn how to introduce your students to fundamental concepts and principles of computer programming in an accessible way, with MATLAB.

Highlights

You will learn about approaches and resources to teaching:

  • Concepts such as variables, expressions and operators.
  • Constructs such as iteration and conditional statements.
  • How to write and test programmes.
  • How to visualise data.
