Matt Brown, Avnet Electronics
Eric Cigan, MathWorks
Join engineers from MathWorks and Avnet® Electronics Marketing who will show you how to use MATLAB® and Simulink® to model, simulate and prototype control systems on Zynq-7000 All Programmable SoC devices.
Many designers are adopting SoC FPGA devices to integrate processor and FPGA functions on a single device, reducing system power, cost, and board size. The complexity implementing algorithms on SoCs, however, creates a challenge for algorithm developers, software developers and hardware designers.
During our webinar presentation, we will demonstrate how to:
Matt Brown is an engineer at Avnet. His passion is to reduce the complexity of SoC design, allowing engineering teams to start development at the application level. Matt spent over a decade as a field application engineer, and he also helped design Motorola's first Iridium™ satellite phone. Recent endeavors include Simulink based workflows for software-defined radios and industrial drives.
Eric Cigan is in the MathWorks technical marketing group supporting ASIC and FPGA workflows. Prior to joining MathWorks, he held technical marketing roles at MathStar, AccelChip, and Mentor Graphics®. Eric earned BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
